Last updated: March 10, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ExpireFile. By creating or using a share, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You must use this service only in compliance with applicable law. If you use ExpireFile on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Upload, store, or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code.
  • Run denial-of-service attacks, scanning, probing, credential stuffing, or abusive automation.
  • Share illegal content, infringing content, or content that violates the rights of others.
  • Interfere with service stability, security, or availability.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or data.

We may suspend or permanently terminate access for abuse, suspected abuse, or policy violations.

3. Your Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for files and data you upload, including legality, ownership, and rights to distribute. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process, and transmit your files in order to provide the service.

4. Retention, Expiration, and Deletion

Shares are designed to expire and may be deleted automatically according to configured lifecycle settings, plan limits, and abuse controls. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We do not guarantee indefinite retention.

5. Availability and Service Changes

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice, including in response to security or operational needs.

6. Payments and Refunds

Paid features are billed through third-party payment providers. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for reviewing plan settings before purchase.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpireFile disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or business interruption.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ExpireFile and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the service or violation of these terms.

9. Governing Law (United States)

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to personal jurisdiction and venue in competent U.S. courts for disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms. The Last updated date above indicates the latest revision.
